Tarina Tarantino

First off, I want that hair.
Then, I want that bag.
I may not need to say more but then someone might ask themselves what I am talking about.

Well, this article’s star is Tarina Tarantino, a well-known designer among the celebrities, whose popularity recently increased thanks to people like Paris Hilton (I wouldn’t ever want to use her name in this blog, although I sadly know it will most certainly increase the hits of our counter) who proudly show themselves all fancied up with her sparkling Hello Kitty (another name I’d rather erase from earth’s face) jewels.
Besides the Hello Kitty things, I have to admit most of her creations are really cute and interesting.
She begun her career by designing and even creating her own jewels, and then started her own brand. Remarkable, ne?
That’s why I really appreciate her work (not considering the fact that she got married surrounded by fuchsia things – even her hair was fuchsia oooh) and recommend it to you.

Funnily enough, I’m afraid you’re not going to be able to buy any of her creations unless you’re not part of the Hilton family. Have a good staring!

I’ll take a break from style, fashion and makeup to talk about something slightly different today.
This is for any of you who owns a pet and knows how difficult it is to make them look in the camera as you try to take a picture of their cute faces.
しろねこ ( shironeko = white cat) Holga is a Lomo Holga japanese camera designed by superheadz that plays amusing cat sounds when pressing the activation button in order to catch your pet’s attention.
Hard times are gone! Yay!
The camera uses 35mm film (ISO 200 / 400) and works with two AA batteries.
It is also available in orange with the name of “Nya Nya Holga” (nya nya is the japanese meow).
And last, but not the least, it comes in a very nice tin (I absolutely love japanese packagings! you should as well 😀 )
Ain’t it cute?!

What shoes to choose ?

Finally this summer women will be comfortable to walk on the sand and the cosmetic products republic will be happy to sell much more anticellulitis creams. How many times have you desired to be glamour also on the beach? This is a true challenge, especially for the ones who don’t spend the entire winter in a  gym. For this summer Versace, Missoni and others thought for us a wonderful shoes’ collection, useless of course, but just for real experts.

A true woman doesn’t have to walk a lot, after all.

The Pearl Effect

Have you ever wondered why the heck people on television always look that good?
How come do they always have smooth skin and perfect features?
Are they actually perfectly made or do they own a somewhat divine elixir or beauty?
Well, you’ll be happy to know it’s neither the former nor the latter, and their secret has a name : Eve Pearl (!)

Eve Pearl!? I think no name would fit better on a celebrity makeup artist.
I mean, think about it, think about the way it sounds, it’s perfect!
Her parents must have definitely seen her future in that name.

She’s the guru of the gurus in the world of makeup, she can completely transform your face and make you look like you just had a “plastic surgery…without the surgery”
(that is the title of her book, something every woman should own before having any contact with a plastic surgeon).

Take a look at her makeover videos and I’m sure salmon will be your favourite color from today on 😉

Candle Night Summer Solstice 2007

Turn out your lights for two hours on the Summer solstice, June 22nd, eight to ten p.m.
Do something special.

Read a book with your child by candlelight. Enjoy a quiet dinner with a special person. Listen to music under candlelight. Take a bath under candlelight. Have a Candle Night party.

Or simply spend time as usual under candlelight.

It is OK to spend time as usual. Do nothing special. Use computer as usual.

This night can mean many things for many people.
A time to save energy, to think about peace, to think about people in distant lands who share your planet.

Pulling the plug open the window to a new world.
Awakens as to human freedom and diversity.
It is a process, finding a larger possibility of the human civilization.
By turning off lights for only two hours, we will be all loosely connected.

Let’s make a “wave of darkness” spread over the globe together.
On the evening of Summer solstice, June 22nd, for two hours from 8 to 10 p.m.

Turn out your lights, take it slow.
